I just want to say something about inhumanity. The human race has committed so many atrocities towards each other that it would almost make more sense to say that it is humane to murder, steal, rape, et cetera. Inhumanity would imply that the things being done are out of the ordinary for humans but anymore death and poverty is so common that it would be very unlike the human race to help other humans out or at least be kind to one another. So, it would make more sense if inhumanity meant that we were being nice to each other. I'm mostly just rambling because studying the Holocaust makes me angry with people who can kill other people and not lose any sleep over it. I'll get back to the assaignment now.

Hello everyone,
I'm back! I'm not in speech this time though. This time around I'm in novels. Right now we're reading "Night." It's pretty good. A little depressing, but good. Well I'm going to go help other people get their blogs set up. Until the next time I get around to posting something. Toodles!

End of Semester Thoughts
Well everyone, I have enjoyed having speech with all of you. It was a lot of fun. I was still nervous before every single speech though. I don't understand that. I know everyone in here so I shouldn't have been that nervous. I really missed everyone on the final day that we didn't have this class. I got to lunch and saw Ashleigh and Kaycie and I remembered that we hadn't had speech. I was really bummed out and it ruined the rest of my day. Since I won't be in here anymore I probably won't publish anymore posts because I'll forget my password. I'm going to miss this class and everyone in it but hopefully I'll have other classes with some of you next semester. So I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy HAM SANDWICH!!!

Transfer Advertisement

Here is an transfer advertisement for Rock the Vote. There aren't any words but you can clearly see that Christina Aguilera is supporting her country by trying to get people to vote. I would say that this ad mostly targets young women who listen to her music and mothers or just parents in general. If you have kids then when you see the baby you will think of your kids and want to make the world a better place for them to be, so hopefully you will end up voting.

Emotional Advertisement
This advertisement is supposed to scare people which will make them not want to smoke. It is using an emotional approach by making them aware that cigarettes can cause death. People in general fear death so they will not want to smoke if they really read this ad.

Testimonial Advertisement
This is a pretty common testimonial that we probably all have seen, but just in case you didn't know it is for Subway. This man claims that he lost weight by staying on the Subway diet. When the commercials first came out the guy wasn't famous but after he did the Subway commercials he became famous. He still does the commercials and people really do believe that he lost weight because of Subway.
